Marcus Troy x Nike Bespoke Air Force 1

What does the life of a popular internet blogger entail? How about your own pair of shoes! Marcus Troy in collaboration with the Nike flagship store on 21 Mercer St. in New York, brought about this very unique design. The shoe toe area is made of kevlar. The body of the shoes are waterproof denim and the tongue is a rubberized leather. Troy believes these materials are meant for a utilitarian feel, but I’m pretty sure they are not going to step through the mud in these. Especially if it’s $820 bucks!

Another cool part about designing your own shoes with the BESPOKE deal is that you get a shoe tree. Pretty awesome. This is used to help maintain your shoes from creasing up.

You can’t buy these but you can design them at Nike stores that have that BESPOKE deal where you literally walk through designing them. Me, if I had a pair of these, I would put them to work just like my other ones. Maybe because I’m not a sneaker head, but I do like shoes, and I love using them for their purpose. For me, it has to be durable enough for tree climbing when I transform into the neighborhood peeping tom. PEEP! PEEP!

Nike Sportswear Air Zoom Toki Navy/White

Check out these Nike Toki! They look pretty awesome with the navy blue suede and the pink lining. The pink goes well with the navy suede. As always, they top it off with the clean white soles and the subtle Nike swoosh logo stitching. Definitely a favorite of mine as only people with a keen eye for detail will notice it. Those are the people I like to have a conversation with.

Air Jordan CPIII “Chris Paul 3″

The third release for Chris Paul with the Air Jordan brand looks pretty good. The highlight of the shoes are the crest design which looks alright. There are three different colorways; the white/red/black ones, the teal green/black, and all blacks. My favorite is the white colorway. The teal green one looks kind of funky and the all black is just too plain for me.

Check out these shoes to be released at select retail on December 26, 2009 while a nationwide release can be found at jumpman23.com on January 2, 2010.

Nike 6.0 Mavrk Mid 2.0 x Buzz Aldrin “Rocket Hero”

Check out these bad ass shoes inspired by Buzz Aldrin. The Nike 6.0 sports a very light material with the Nike Free soles. The designs with the moon in the night sky, and the tan colored inner lining looks freaking sweet! Look for these shoes to available at a couple retail stores January 1st, 2010. I’ll have more info on these once I get them.

Nike Sportswear Torch Air Max 90 preview

They just released previews of the new Nike Torch Air Max 90 which has this new technology. The tech is a heat and moisture management system which probably means evaporation of sweat which leads to cooling of the feet. The black ones look dope! I need to be looking into some new running shoes once I start running again. It will be almost a year, and I have been rehabbing enough that I’m currently ahead of schedule.

These will be part of the Nike Sportswear Spring / Summer 2010 collection.

Fluff x Nike SB Zoom Bruin

I’m sorry I slept on these because after closer examination, these shoes are fantastically designed. The gray suede on white canvas looks very sharp. The subtle stitching on the background behind the swoosh is a favorite of mine just like the Nike HUF SB I got in November. The soles also look dope with the rigid design and the coolest part has to be the “fluff” logo behind the shoe and on the placard in place of the Nike lettering above the logo.

These came out yesterday and at this point, you have to be in Barcelona to get these. There is the trustnobody.com site but they still have not uploaded the shop section yet, so I guess we have to wait to get our hands on these. Nike iD Zoom Kobe 5 (V) Options

The new Nike iD Zoom Kobe V will be available for you to customize at nikeid.com on Dec. 26th, 2009 and available in stores throughout the US Jan. 16, 2010. The cool thing about this iD is that you get to pick from 10 different designs on the shoe from a scale pattern to the spotted pattern. It looks pretty cool but until I see it in my hands, I’ll hold judgment. For some reason, the Kobe 4′s looked awesome in the pictures but when I saw it in person, the background design on the swoosh was horrible.

Nike SB “This is Qatar” video

Filmed by Enrique Mayor, this video shows clips of Qatar and a bunch of skaters in the country. I have a friend out in Qatar right now doing work and making about 6 figures a year. It’s pretty cool what they are doing in their country. Qatar is really really laid back with the Islamic rules compared to other countries. If you get a chance to visit this place, you would be amazed by the structures, and how they made their country into a fantastic looking place. I mean seriously, they have man made islands out there. That’s nuts.

I got the HUF x Nike SB Blazer Premium!!!…..at Supreme?!

I wrote a post on HUF x Nike SB Blazer Premium awhile back praising the subtle stitching and simple design. Being that today is HUF”s 20% off everything sale, I went down to Fairfax Los Angeles looking to grab a pair on sale. Acourse, HUF only had sizes 12 and 13 left which probably means skaters and hipsters are not athletic football basketball type of guys.

Luckily for some reason, the Supreme store across the street had the HUF’s. It must have been a neighborly gesture because I seriously thought only HUFSF and HUFLA would have those.

I also got a close up glimpse of the Nike SB Stefan Janoski boat shoe style and I must say, they were not up to par with my expectations. The style of it cool, but if I were to get those, I would probably stay with the fabric material rather than the water proof style. But, if I was into boating (which I’m not because of my lack aquatic maneuvering skills) and having sex with white women (yes please!) than I would sport the boat shoes.

My little adventure today also led me to come up with a definite uniform for hipsters. You have to wear very tight pants and be able to sag them. Your body must be unfit meaning you have never touched a ball that was used for recreational sports (basketball, football, baseball). Then the most important aspect of being a hipster, if you are in a group of your kind, one person must have an SLR camera. If you are caught in this, than if you look down the street you might see me laughing at you.

Air Jordan 2010

It’s been 25 years for the Nike Air Jordan brand, so to celebrate this, they are releasing the AIR JORDAN 2010. The most distinct feature is the see through window (made because of Jordan’s ability to see through opponents…. really?!) and the higher medial cut. The shoes look decent, I just think the seeing through opponent is kind of silly.

These shoes are going to be released Feb. 13, 2010 for a whopping $170. Fuck basketball, these shoes better get me some poon. For more information on the release, you can check out Jumpman 23.

*Update – Here is the video of the shoes done by two white guys. Watch as they examine the shoes to its finest detail without knowing what a basketball is.

HUF x Nike SB Blazer Video featuring Omar Salazar

HUF and Nike’s collabo on the SB Blazer Premium just released a video of Omar Salazar sporting the new bad ass shoes on the streets of San Francisco.

Man, this video makes me want to get the shoes more for the action sequences in Frisco. If they had recorded me, the only action you see me in those shoes is walking into a medical marijuana shop and doing the running man.

They released a sneak peek at the much anticipated “Vacahyde” edition of the Nike SB Stefan Janoski. It has a very cool material of brown hyde with a cream colored Swoosh. Pretty awesome looking.

HUF x Nike SB Canvas Blazer Mid shoes

HUF teamed up with Nike to come up with the Nike SB Canvas Blazer Mids. These are awesome. The canvas, Chuck’s inspired shoes feature a slick subtle Nike Swoosh logo sewn, with a Harbor midsole. Fantastically cool shoes that I would be considering on making a purchase.

These basketball players that Nike are allowing to design their shoes should take a look at how to make cool shoes with out all those flares. There is a reason why basketball shoes have some of the worst designs on them.

DJ Clark Kent inspired Nike Air Force 1 Premium has the colors that I like on my clothes. Brown with other shades of it. The coolest part is the mad football head in the soles. Makes me want to get raged up!

Nike SB Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod 3) Midnight Fog

The new colorway release called Midnight Fog / Sports Red for the P-Rod III features soft suede and the PRIII design on it is pretty sweet. It’s still not as good as the black jungle colorway which I currently own. I also like the difference of the tongue which I must say, is more comfortable than the fat tongue. These shoes are now available for $95 at the Flatspot in UK. Wait a couple more days and we’ll see them around the states.

Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher Charity Shoes

This one is for my boy that desires these shoes but wasn’t willing to camp out for a week because he has a job and a life.

Kanye sported these at the VMA’s last night and now they are on eBay going for over 11k! I guess its for charity so there might be a reason why its going so high. For us poor folks, we need to bid on it and raise the price.

Nike Air Max Lebron 7 (VII)

The new Lebron’s are receiving a lot of coverage and promotion even though shoe is ugly. I like the Nike air support, and the patent leather is cool, but all those lines and crosses where the Nike logo is ridiculous. The red looks kind of off so I’ll off on criticizing that part until I see it in person. The reason I’m going hard at the line and crosses is because it looks cool in pictures, but when you see it in person, it is horrible ala. the Nike Kobe Zoom. I have saw it in person, and they look ugly.
