It’s started.  Samsung has released previews of its ridiculously ultra thin 9000 series television.  It’s as thin as the pencil for god sakes!  All the usual parts that makes a LCD work is in the pedestal which probably means you won’t see this mounted on a wall.

The most interesting features of this new tv is the touch remote that allows you to watch other contents on different sources.  Meaning, you can watch a game while viewing your Blu Ray porn.  It’s almost like the older style PIP deal which went dead for a minute before being revived through the satellite and cable companies.

This sharp television set also have 3D features which will go nicely with the upcoming 3D channels added by Direct TV.  I’m not sold on 3D mainly because you have to wear those glasses.  That’s only good in theaters.  But you know, if porn has success with 3D, than you definitely know it will be available in mainstream.

No word yet on the release or price of it yet.
