Being “green” is the new in and New Balance is taking it one step further with their recycled plastic shoes. It’s not really plastic but the material have been refined from plastic into a material called “Eco-fi”. This new material is a high quality polyester which looks like the kevlar matrix material.
It’s a pretty cool design and at first glance, I thought the soles were suction cups. It was not. There goes my dream of walking on the side of a glass building.
