I never pay much attention to Olivia Munn mainly because she kept doing shoots for Complex Magazine… I hate Complex. But I did catch Munn on The Daily Show and she was pretty funny. Plus my friend Erik is in love with her. Like, “having to worry about stalking” in love with her. Tam on the other hand, hates her because she takes advantage of nerds, financially and sexually. I on the other hand, will give her props for posing in my favorite magazine in the world.

The always hilarious Will Arnett was featured in GQ’s September issue with Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz writing the article.  Pretty funny read.  Check it out at GQ.com.

I’m also looking forward to his show Running Wild, and hopefully people catch on to it.  For some reason, new comedic shows have a hard time gaining momentum and FOX isn’t the most patient network on television.

I do not like this guy.  The moment I didn’t like him was when the Lakers won the championship against the Magics and later that evening, you see LeBron walking around with a “MVP” shirt to a club.  So when I heard about his one hour special “The Decision” being aired, I knew the whole country will turn their backs to him.  Even if he had chosen to stay in Cleveland, the damage was already done with this pure narcissistic spectacle.

That’s why if you got some time, you should read J.R. Moehringer’s article at GQ.com leading up to “The Decision”.  J.R. Moehringer seems to struggle to put James in a good light in this piece.  He brings in the human emotion of LeBron by writing about the struggle of his childhood, his love for kids and charitable organizations, and his psychological fear of being alone.  Than, it seems to swing back to being negative when LeBron refers to himself in the third person, his ridiculous phobia about a strange room, and his management’s teams demands according to LeBron.

This was a great article to read and I must say, LeBron wearing that Tom Ford sweater looks sharp!  Too bad he messes it up by wearing Rocawear jeans.  Good thing the photographer cut out those possibly horrendous pants.  You can check out the slideshow at GQ.com.

Side and very objective note from a Lakers fan:  In the article, you read that Kobe takes a helicopter ride to Staples Center all the time.  They do not clarify that his knees act up when sitting for more than 30 minutes.  He lives in Orange County, so sitting in a car for an hour plus isn’t the best option for his knees.  LeBron makes a minor defense of Kobe, but does not clarify, mainly because he doesn’t want Kobe to take his spotlight…. like he did for the last two years by actually winning championships.  Zing!

I always love reading these celebrity interviews done by GQ.  The actor always surprises the hell out of me by displaying a whole different character from what you see on the Late Night circuit.  These interviews are as good as Howard Stern’s interview with celebrities.

This Sylvester Stallone interview is a definite read when the issue comes out this week.  While you wait, you can check out Sly’s fashion time-line at GQ.com.  He should definitely grow his beard again; he looked totally cool!

Petty cool picture of Aziz Ansari throwing the old ancient tube tv into a pool.  I needed a door stop so I offered my friend $2 for her tube television.  She didn’t accept.

If you ever watch Parks and Recreation, Aziz’s character Tom Haverford is a dedicated GQ reader even though he takes it to the extreme.  When he avoids the extreme, he is one of the best dressed characters on television.  It’s pretty cool to see what Tom is wearing this week plus throw in Ron Swanson and Andy, and you get one of my favorite shows on NBC.

Beat the heat by showing your meat!……. ugh.  I just woke up.  Sorry.  I apologize.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World gained some heat at Comic-Con 2010 for their comic book feeling brought into the real world.  I saw the trailer and it looks pretty good.  Michael Cera (who’s fashion  is underrated), Jason Schwartzman (one of the best dressers in the biz), and Chris Evans (nothing special but was pretty cool in the movie Push) are featured in this hilarious photo set at GQ.com.

Here’s Jason Sudeikis looking extra cool with that plaid dress shirt.  The $80 shirt is a Banana Republic.  Very surprising as I prematurely assumed that Banana Republic only specializes in “island wear”.  The tie also looks pretty cool too.  It’s made by The Tie Bar and it would run you $15.  Now that’s a great price!

Now this is what I’m talking about.  The umbrella can’t stop everything so I always wore my Ralph Lauren jacket.  Even though it works fine during the rain, it’s not water repellent.  The jacket gains extra un-needed weight and has to be dried after use.  That’s why a rain jacket is so essential to a man’s wardrobe.

My favorite pieces above is the rain jacket designed by Gant Rugger and shirt by J.Crew (which is the same exact one I have).

I LOVE EMMA STONE!!!!! Emma Stone was cute in Superbad, really hot in The House Bunny, and fucking drop dead sexy in Zombieland.  She is featured in GQ’s comedy issue doing some comedic type of pictures. GQ should definitely do some sexy ones with her but these will do for now. Any high res pictures of Emma Stone is welcomed here.

I have been sitting here for five minutes and can not think of anything funny to say about these guys.  Mainly because I spent ten minutes before laughing it up through their hilarious interview with GQ.  I will say this, Paul Rudd is the man!  And I need to go brush my teeth so I can catch the 1245 show of Predator.  I hope Adrian Brody gets murder bonered by a Predator.

David Arquette is a big activist in solving the problem of hunger in America.  So how is he helping?  Giving them Snickers!!!!!  I love Snickers!  Arquette is currently volunteering twice a week at a LA food bank by loading boxes of food while paid workers watch and weeding out fat kids that try to sneak in applications for free Snickers.  It’s usually a dead giveaway when you see chocolate fingerprints on the apps and you smell bacon on the envelope seal.

Hey!  It’s Eggs from True Blood!

You remember when I said if shorts’ lengths above the knees would lead to a fashion trend of thongs for men?  Well I was using the “appeal to probability” method of reason.  It’s basically the downhill fallacy that if this happens then this will happen.  A common strategic tool of argument used by the Republicans…. Zing!  (I just cashed in my only political zinger card for the year).

Well GQ is promoting the shorter shorts, which I can’t follow because of my bright white thighs.  I don’t see how Eggs can hold back a boner with the very hot Emanuela DePaula crawling over him.

I’m not fully into M.I.A.’s music mainly because I don’t give a shit about political issues.  Anybody can give an opinion on it, so I find politics and social issues a menial subject.  Just keeping it real, dog.

But I am a fan of her Paper Planes and Born Free song and what her dad did to her was definitely wrong.  M.I.A. doesn’t see it that way though, so I’m guessing she also has daddy issues.

First day and we throw up a picture of Taylor Lautner.  I know what are you thinking, yes I have made fun of Twilight before, but not the actors.  Calling Lautner and Pattinson gay is not my forte son!  What I do call “gay” is three things.  One, vampires can not have babies with humans.  Two, vampires can’t walk around during the day.  I don’t care that this city in Washington lacks enough light for vampires to walk around.  Any light seeping through can hurt vampires. Three, why would vampires want an education?  Night shift jobs don’t need high education.  A course, all my female friends respond with the same answer, “God, use your damn imagination Hoang.  It’s a book.”

Oh hey!  This issue has an article about homophobia.  You probably can use this because I know for sure the homophobic phrases were used when you saw this.  And for my two female readers, you are welcome.

Memorial weekend has passed and it seems like I took an extended vacation this weekend. If taking a vacation is finishing up your thesis while watching Band of Brothers marathon on Spike TV, than yes. The weekend also means that summer has begun.

It’s time to drop the layers and heavier wool fabrics for the cotton suit!  And what a suit it is!  The khacki style suit worn by Samuel is designed by J.Crew for only $366!!!  Man, cotton is not only perfect fabric for the summer, but it is way cheaper!  You don’t see his feet in the picture but GQ is promoting the sockless look which totally looks clean.  I need to save up some money or use my Pell grant to get some nice loafers.

Now this is how you do a photo spread!  Take notice Maxim.  You just can’t stick any chick in a bikini and expect the photo shoot to be sexy!…. Actually yeah you can.  BUT!  GQ does it better with Alice Eve.  This photo was actually in May’s issue but the guys held out for the Sex In The City 2 movie because Alice Eve will be in it.

Don’t get overly excited when your girlfriend ask you to go watch the new SITC2 movie with her.  You don’t want to tip her off.
