My hero and super photographer Terry Richardson just released the 2010 Pirelli Calendar featuring probably America’s current obsession, Miranda Kerr. There are some other models on there too but let’s not gloss over the fact that Miranda is topless! What a beautiful woman.
And to get a beautiful woman to pose topless for you while snapping pictures from various angles, you have to be a bad ass photographer like Richardson. Yes I love the pictures he take…. a lot! His pictures are raw and the in your face style brings out the natural nature of the subject. He compliments the pictures with a brighter flash that brings the model out and doesn’t let them get lost in the background. Here is an example from the Megan Fox GQ shoot.
Being that I am easily inspired by the social theory that women will do just about anything in front of a camera, I recently purchased a Nikon DSLR D3000, which is the lower end but it still takes some awesome pictures. You can expect pictures of chicks posing rather than some cheap emo style pictures of scenery, black and white pictures, and the always annoying, the subject acting like they are unaware of the camera staring off into space type of deal. No sir, just pictures of hot chicks, hopefully stripping for me. How am I going to pull this off? Easy, when Spring quarter starts, I’m going to bring my camera to that little sorority gig they got going and say I’m from GQ magazine. It’s that easy.
